Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Project Variables Group on the Metrics Tab

Use the ribbon commands to perform such tasks as add a new project variable or delete a variable.

This menu displays when you are in the Project Variables view.

Field Description
New Project Variable Click this icon to create a new field variable.

When defining a metric, if a project value to be used in a metric definition is unknown, then a project variable can be created. When an analysis is run, the user is prompted for the actual value to be assigned.

Delete Click this icon to delete the selected variable.
